ABOUT THE MEETING:
The Vacuum Societies of Germany, Poland and Sweden are organising a joint meeting which is intended to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of expertise and recent results on the scientific and technical areas within the common scope of the societies. The meeting continues a series of annual meetings on Vacuum based Science and Technology which started in 2002 by the German Vacuum Society DVG in order to foster the cooperation between European Vacuum Societies by transnational conferences. Particular focus of the meeting will be on plasma science and technology under vacuum conditions. The meeting includes an industry exhibition of equipment and materials related to vacuum based technologies and for vacuum production.

MEETING FORMAT:
The conference topics will be addressed by invited talks of internationally recommended scientists and technologists, as well as by oral and poster sessions. The meeting will begin on Wednesday 5 Sepetmber 2007 at 9 o'clock.
The meeting language is English. The poster session will be opened on Wednesday 5 September 2007 after the opening session. Poster will be on display throughout the meeting.
